Description
A wonderful day spent in the woods. In fact, it wasn't really the whole day, just a few hours. But there were some special moments lived in the forest, peace, tranquility, fog, the atmosphere of the beginning of autumn, everything was beautiful. I found some very interesting trees that I will photograph in other conditions. After about 4 hours of exploring the forest and photographing, just before gathering everything and going to the car, I saw out of the corner of my eye this tree, in fact this branch that looks a lot like a snake. I was very pleasantly surprised by this scene and I looked for the best angle from which to capture this branch in all its splendor. Of course it was difficult to frame this subject, I had to mount the tripod as high as possible to be able to frame the whole scene, and so it was not enough, so I had to make 3 vertical images and combine them into a panorama for the whole image. A very good end of summer and beginning of autumn. Image made through the forest of Romania.

Such an unusual photograph with amazing depth of field. The tree looks like a snake extending into the distance. Quite something.

Really cool looking trunk; I like the point of view being so low to capture that twisting wood on its way out of the shadows.
