Image made in Glod Gorges. The Glod Gorges make up a protected area of national interest that corresponds to the 4th category IUCN (nature reserve of geological, floristic and landscape type), located in Alba county, on the administrative territory of Almasu Mare commune. The natural area is located in the southeast of the Metaliferi Mountains (mountain group of the Apuseni Mountains, belonging to the mountain range of the Western Carpathians), in the central-western part of Alba county (at the territorial limit with Hunedoara county) and the northern part of Ardeu.
