Description
A beautiful autumn morning through the forests of Romania. Image made in Apuseni Mountains. I left early in the morning to catch a sunrise from an area that had a wider view of the Mures valley and other relief elements, such as hills, mountains, valleys, etc. and I hope to catch the fog, to make it a more interesting picture. It was autumn and such conditions were quite frequent in the mornings, it was also in this case, I even managed to capture some interesting and beautiful images. After I finished shooting wide landscapes and the light started to get stronger I decided to go to a nearby forest and above to try my luck with this fog that rises higher and higher. We knew the forest quite well and we knew that it has the potential for spectacular and special images, especially in such atmospheric conditions. When I reached the top of the forest the sun made its presence felt among the trees and penetrated through the fog creating special visual scenes, I was not prepared for such a thing and of course I did not have the camera at hand to capture these moments, I photographed them with the phone and I memorized them. After these moments the fog disappeared, I ran in all directions to find more fog, I climbed higher but I still couldn't find the fog. At one point I started to explore the forest and at that moment I saw that the fog had appeared below and it was much thicker, I started running towards that area and I started looking for compositions, I noticed these trees separating very good with the rest of the forest and I liked them, I took out the camera, mounted the telephoto lens and then I put the camera on a tripod, I framed and shot. I managed to capture the essence of autumn in this special image. I was very happy.
